At m2, it’s all about the wine. Since 2004 their focus and purpose have been creating dynamic artisan wines from distinctive vineyards in Lodi, the Sierra Foothills, and Napa Valley.
The winery at 1376 East Turner Road isn’t particularly fancy. They’re in a warehouse; don’t have a great view, nice landscaping, picnic tables, sculptures or bocce ball courts. Their focus is on the wine and their resources go toward making the best wines – that means exceptional grapes, real oak barrels, careful craftsmanship and an obsession for creating delicious wines. From stellar examples of Lodi Zinfandel to classic Napa Cabernet to exciting Rhone wines from the Sierra Foothills, m2 wines are created to fully express the character of the vineyard and the fruit of the vine as a wine that is true to itself – balanced, complex, approachable and age-worthy.
The winery is open for tasting Thursday to Monday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also by appointment. Just FYI, you’re welcome to stop by any day or time; if they’re in the winery, it’s open!
