They came to Lodi with strong work ethics and knowledge from the old country to plant Zinfandel vineyards and make premium wine.
There were many tough times, as they faced drought, floods, prohibition, and economic depression. Through their perseverance, they overcame these obstacles and paved the way for future generations to make Lodi what it is known as today: “The Zinfandel Capital of the World”.
