To start, what better way to celebrate the day that we can all gather together again safely, than to open a truly GIANT bottle of Zinfandel? Nothing says “the pandemic is over!” like an 18L etched bottle of their iconic Home Ranch Zinfandel—the equivalent of 2 cases of wine! This very special bottling is comprised of some of their oldest blocks of Zinfandel, truly ancient vines planted in 1895 at the legendary founding estate in Alexander Valley. Depending on when and how you’d like to enjoy this next piece, they invite you to join Winemaker, Andy Robinson at their beautiful tasting room in Healdsburg, Sonoma County or Andy will join you virtually for this one-of-a-kind experience. They’re offering the chance to taste a vertical composed of five vintages of Home Ranch Zinfandel from 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012, and 2010. Andy will take you through the nuance of each vintage and the winemaking choices that were made in the cellar, discovering the ways in which each bottling is unique. Happy bidding!
