Over several months, the winning bidder will collaborate with CAST’S expert winemaking and design teams to craft a one-of-a-kind wine and custom label.
Stay close to your creation with overnight hospitality in their winery guest house and take advantage of curated tastings and meals throughout your experience. Not only will you walk away with 24 finished cases of your very own wine, but you’ll gain intimate, hands-on insight into the artistry of winemaking, exploring every decision and variable that shapes each bottle. This is more than an experience—it’s the ultimate wine lover’s dream come true.
Visit #1
The winning bidder will make their way to Dry Creek Valley and check in to the CAST Wines guest house for a two-night stay. Our winemaking team will meet you at the winery to kick off the project. This will include:
- A taste through the barrels in their cellar in order to select a base varietal for your wine along with a targeted stylistic direction
- Kick-off meeting with the CAST creative team to begin designing the wine package (bottle, label, capsule) and set a preliminary schedule for your project
- VIP tasting experience at a neighboring winery, as well as, a dinner at one of the area’s premier restaurants
Visit #2
You will return for another two-night stay at the guest house roughly three to four months prior to the anticipated bottling date to check in on the wine, which will include:
- A tasting and evaluation of your wine
- Blending trials
- Review of your label design
- VIP tasting experience at a neighboring winery, as well as, a lunch at one of the area’s nearby restaurants
Final Visit
Bottling Day! (Based on CAST’S scheduled bottlings, this could take place in January, May or August). This visit includes:
- Two-night stay at the guest house
- Bottling of your wine and a celebratory wine-paired feast with the team
Just a few weeks later, approximately 24 cases of your personally hand-crafted wine will be delivered directly to you!

- Three visits with two-night stays each at the CAST guest house in Dry Creek Valley for 2

Notes/Restrictions: All dates and project timeline details are to be mutually agreed upon but dependent on CAST team schedules. Package includes freight/delivery cost for one bulk shipment to one location after bottling (multiple shipments to multiple addresses available with the incremental cost passed on to you). CAST is able to keep a portion of the wine at their warehouse if you cannot accept all of the wine at once. Storage fees and, if applicable, individual shipping costs are to be billed as costs incurred
